SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
|

The Stanford Journal of International Law invites
the submission of unsolicited manuscripts of articles, essays, book reviews,
and comments at all times of the year.
|

Where to
Submit
|
|
We are currently accepting submissions for the Summer
2007 issue.
Submissions should be sent electronically, along with an abstract and
curriculum vitae, to submit@sjil.org. Due to the high volume of submissions
received, we are unable to provide responses to individual authors. In general, we expect to notify
successful authors within two months of submission.

What to
Submit
|
- Manuscripts should
be submitted in electronic format (Word 6.0 or higher preferred).
- Article
submissions should include an abstract of not more than 250 words.
- Manuscripts should
be typewritten, double-spaced, in no smaller than 12 point type face.
- Citations should
conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System
of Citation (18th ed. 2005).
- Extraordinarily
long (200 pages or more, double-spaced) articles will generally not be
considered.
